Once trust is broken, bringing it back will be hard. Apparently, the friendship of Glib Personality (GP) and Loquacious Figure (LF) was broken due to a trust violation. Behind cameras, celebrities form bonds that go beyond their professional relationships. GP and LF found themselves talking and forming ties in the midst of their showbiz commitments.
When GP and LF realized they had many things in common, their bonding strengthened. The two became close and their friendship was no secret in the entertainment industry. As the two became comfortable with each other, LF revealed many of her deepest secrets that even included sensitive topics about her family. After unburdening herself to GP, LF reminded her friend that her revelations should be kept in confidence. GP should never ever talk to others what LF told her. Corollary to the request, GP was accorded the same agreement. GP spilled much tea as well.
One day, GP was entertaining a few friends. GP was groggy that day, but that did not stop her from talking. Horrors. GP started to talk about LF’s secrets. Her friends listened intently. However, GP did not say to them to keep quiet and not pass on the story to others. GP forgot that one of those friends (OF) was a friend of LF.
OF then asked LF about the stories GP revealed. LF was shocked as she remembered saying to GP to keep everything to herself. LF was hurt and stopped returning the calls and messages of GP. GP realized that her conversations with OF might have reached LF. GP asked OF but she was too late. No amount of apology could soften LF anymore. Friendship was over.
