Often, viewers have no idea of what occurs behind the scenes of their favorite programs. While only the scenes that make viewers cry, laugh, and angry are shown, the real emotions do not happen in front of the cameras. A scene can only come to life with the help of the production crew. The best effort of the crew results in impressive scenes that engage the audience.
However, viewers have no idea of the treatment of the backstage hands and the emotions directed at them. Some production heads can spew curses every other word at a crew who could have overlooked something. The words can downright be insulting and belittling. As the crew needs work and even has passion for the job, he/she will just absorb the painful words.
According to the grapevine, powerful personalities involved in a popular program have been getting away with insulting, maligning, and treating their female staff poorly. Female staff are not spared from jokes and insults to the point of making them cry. No one dares to reveal the horrible attitude of the major talents, who seem to have a strong hold with the big bosses.
Versatile Actors 1 (VA1) and 2 (VA2) are highly admired for their skills and creativity. Give them any role and they can work wonders in front of the camera. They have been in the industry for so long that they are very familiar with the dealings in front and behind the cameras. They are even known to contribute ideas for better execution of their scenes. These skills have made them trusted and valued by the heads. Nonetheless, the two can be unkind behind the scenes and this behavior is detested by the female staff. Sadly, no one has the courage to speak up against such behavior, as VA1 and VA2 are too valuable for the management and the former’s image makes such accusations unbelievable.
