When strangers find themselves in an awkward situation, such as riding the elevator or standing next to each other while waiting, certain behavior occurs. Call it instinct or innate, most people would flash a smile at a stranger in such situations. Expectedly, a smile should be reciprocated or the showing of pleasant behavior.
Good-looking Actor (GA) is a familiar face. People might not recognize him at first, but his stance is a giveaway that he is into acting. One-time, Female Citizen (FC) and Her Companion (HC) found themselves with GA in a well-known, high-end establishment waiting for the elevator. FC smiled and said ‘Hi!’ to GA not knowing who he was. FC was being pleasant.
FC knew eye contact was established, but was shocked at GA’s reaction. GA stared at FC and was unmoved. FC detected the cold reception and assumed GA was rude. As soon as GA was away from them, HC told FC that GA was a celebrity and an actor of a network. FC was disappointed upon realizing that GA should have at least smiled and not be a snob given his status. Nonetheless, GA is known to be moody in and out of the set. Unlike his contemporaries, GA is not among the list of friendly celebrities.
